Privacy Policy

Draft for review. This policy has been prepared as a serious starting point based on the services LaunchPilot uses. Before publishing, have it reviewed by someone qualified in data-protection law for your jurisdiction (Singapore PDPA + EU/UK GDPR where you serve those users), and fill in any bracketed details.

1. Who we are

LaunchPilot is operated by Traclin Pte Ltd ("LaunchPilot", "we", "us"), a company registered in Singapore. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@uselaunchpilot.com. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

2. What data we collect

We collect only what we need to provide the service:

• Account data: your email address and authentication details, so you can log in.
• Product data you provide: information about the startup you're marketing (name, description, ideal customer, website), and content you create in the app.
• Usage data: basic technical information needed to run and secure the service (for example, log data and interactions with features).
• Content you submit to the co-pilot: the messages you send to the AI co-pilot and any files (such as campaign CSVs) you upload for analysis.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of data. Please don't submit sensitive personal data to the co-pilot.

3. How and why we use your data (legal bases)

Under the GDPR we rely on these legal bases:

• Performance of a contract: to provide LaunchPilot's features to you (account, co-pilot guidance, analysis).
• Legitimate interests: to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and improve the product — balanced against your rights.
• Consent: for non-essential cookies/analytics, where applicable (you can withdraw consent at any time).
• Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose data to comply with the law.

4. Who processes your data (sub-processors)

We use trusted third-party providers to run LaunchPilot. They process data only to deliver the service, under their own security and data-protection terms:

• Supabase — authentication and database (stores your account and app data).
• Railway — backend hosting (runs the application server).
• Anthropic — AI processing (powers the co-pilot; the messages and content you send to the co-pilot are processed to generate responses).

[Confirm the hosting regions of each provider and whether any data is transferred outside the EEA/UK. If so, describe the safeguards used, e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses.]

5. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the EEA/UK. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. [Confirm specifics with each provider.]

6. How long we keep it

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active, and then delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, unless we must keep it longer to comply with the law. [Specify retention periods where you can.]

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (EU/UK GDPR, Singapore PDPA), you have rights to: access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. You can also withdraw consent for optional processing at any time. To exercise any right, email hello@uselaunchpilot.com. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data (including access controls and encryption in transit). No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

9. What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal data.
• We don't post anything on your behalf — you approve and publish every word yourself.
• We don't share your data except with the providers needed to run the service, or where required by law.

10. Cookies

We use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. You control non-essential cookies through our cookie banner.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll change the "last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you.
